What does the RRB ALP CBT 2 result 2026 contain?

The RRB ALP CBT-2 2026 result has been released in two formats, and every candidate should check both:

1. Zone-wise merit list PDF. Each regional Railway Recruitment Board has published a merit list PDF for its zone. This PDF contains the roll numbers of candidates who have qualified CBT-2 and are shortlisted for the CBAT. It is a simple roll-number list — find your number in your own zone's PDF.

2. Individual scorecard. Every candidate who appeared in CBT-2 can download an individual scorecard from the RRB digital portal by logging in with their registration number and date of birth. The scorecard shows your marks and your qualifying status, and it remains available till 16 October 2026.

Candidates should download both documents and keep printed copies safe, since the scorecard will be useful during document verification later.

How is the merit list for RRB ALP CBT 2 2026 prepared?

The RRB ALP CBT-2 paper is divided into two parts, and each part plays a different role in the result:

• Part A covers Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering, and General Awareness. Merit is prepared on the basis of Part A marks only — your rank in the merit list depends on these marks.
• Part B is the trade-specific technical paper. Part B is qualifying in nature: candidates must secure a minimum of 35% marks, and this 35% qualifying standard applies to all categories. Part B marks are not added to the merit.

In simple terms: you must first clear the 35% bar in the Part B trade paper, and then your Part A score decides your position in the zone-wise merit list.

What are the RRB ALP CBT 2 cut-off marks 2026?

The Railway Recruitment Boards have released the RRB ALP CBT-2 2026 (CEN 01/2025) cut-off marks zone-wise and category-wise along with the result. This means each regional RRB has published its own cut-off list for the categories applicable in its zone.

To check the exact cut-off applicable to you, open your own regional RRB website's result section and download the official cut-off PDF for CEN 01/2025 CBT-2. Do not rely on cut-off figures circulating on social media or unofficial pages — only the figures in the official zone-wise cut-off PDF are authentic, and cut-offs differ from zone to zone and category to category.

Qualifying CBT-2 is not the end of the road — here is the exact sequence of what comes next for shortlisted candidates:

Exam city and date intimation. Before the CBAT, the RRBs will release the exam city and date intimation slip — expected about 10 days before the CBAT. This slip tells you your exam city and shift.

E-call letter (admit card). The CBAT e-call letter is expected a few days before the exam date. Download it from your regional RRB website using your registration number and date of birth, and check all details printed on it carefully.

Document Verification and Medical Examination. Candidates who clear the CBAT will be called for Document Verification, followed by the prescribed Medical Examination. Keep your educational certificates, identity proof, caste/category certificate (if applicable) and photographs ready in advance.
