Marking Scheme and Score Estimation: How to Calculate Your Score?
The provisional NEET PG 2026 answer key lets every candidate estimate their own score, but only if the estimate uses the real marking scheme. NBEMS defines the marking scheme for NEET PG 2026 in the official NEET PG 2026 information bulletin. This article deliberately does not print any plus or minus figures — always verify the marking scheme from the bulletin before you calculate. Open your individual response sheet and the provisional answer key side by side, bucket each question as correct, incorrect, or unattempted, tally the counts honestly, and apply the official marking scheme from the bulletin. Treat the estimate as provisional until the final answer key is out.
How to Raise Objections Against the NEET PG 2026 Answer Key?
NBEMS has opened an objection window so that candidates can challenge questions or recorded responses in the NEET PG 2026 provisional key. The objection fee, the last date to file, and the exact filing procedure are published in the official notice on natboard.edu.in — this article does not print those figures, because they must be taken from the official notice itself. In broad terms: sign in to the NBEMS portal with your application number, password and security pin, open the objection or challenge link for NEET PG 2026, select the question you wish to challenge, and submit your representation strictly in the format and within the timeline the official notice prescribes. Save every acknowledgement or reference number, and file well before the deadline.
What Happens After the Answer Key?
The provisional answer key released on 1 October 2026 is a checkpoint, not the finish line. After the objection window closes, NBEMS examines every representation and publishes the final answer key — the one true version on which the actual evaluation of NEET PG 2026 rests. The result and merit list are then revised against that final key. Then comes counselling for MD, MS and PG Diploma seats, conducted round by round.
